Moth - World Championship 2021 - Malcesine ITA - Day 2

Three races were sailed on Lake Garda yesterday in an Ora exceeding 20kn. ----- Tom Slingsby AUS (Olympic Gold Laser 2012) and helmsman of the SailGP "Team Australia" continued to sail flawlessly, again winning all races in his group. Iain Jensen AUS (Olympic Gold 49er 2012) is tied for 2nd place with 5 race wins and a 4th place as a discard. Paul Goodison GBR (Olympic Gold Laser 2008), 5 points behind, is in 3rd place. Ruggero Tita ITA (Olympic Gold Nacra 17 2021) continues with top ranks holding rank 7 overall, as does match racer Phil Robertson NZL staying in 9th. ----- Other newcomers are having a harder time, such as Jo Aleh NZL (470 gold 2012) in 65th place or Diego Botin ESP (49er rank 4 Olympics 2021) in 69th place. ----- The results, the report and the video of the day.
