A perfect start for the Régates Royales yesterday in the bay of Cannes: Summery weather with 12-15kn seabreeze enabled 4 races in all classes. Dragon and 5.5m also held their French championships at the same time. ----- Dieter Schön, sailing for Switzerland, and his prominent crew Markus Wieser GER/Thomas Auracher GER lead the 5.5m with two points ahead of Mateusz Kusznierewicz POL. Craig Symonette BAH follows in third place. 14 teams from 6 nations at the start. ----- As many as 30 teams are competing in the Dragon. Gauthier Gouillou FRA is leading ahead of Anatoly Loginov RUS.
