iQ-Foil - European Championship 2021 - Marseille FRA - Final results - 2 x Gold for France

With the medal races for the best 8 and the last races for the rest of the fleet, the European iQ-Foil Windsurf Championships came to an end in excellent conditions in Marseille yesterday. The participation was impressive in the first big championship for the new Olympic class. ----- Hélène Noesmoen FRA was in a class of her own in the women's category. After winning the qualification by a large margin, she also won all 3 medal races. Islay Watson GBR and Shachar Reshef ISR took the other medals - the ranking list Medal Race Women. ----- In the classification races of the rest of the fleet, the Swiss women struggled. Manon Berger SUI was 63rd, Elena Sendera SUI followed in 65th - the final ranking. ----- Major changes in iQ-Foil men : With two race wins, Nicolas Goyard FRA also won the European Championship title after his success in the World Championship.
