Persico 69, J/70, Melges 24 - Winter Series - Miami FL, USA - Day 2

Fresh winds up to 30kn delayed the start of the day's races yesterday. It was not until late afternoon that the wind eased, the J/70 and the Melges were able to finish 2 races that were still windy, for the Persico69 there were 4 races. With 3 race wins, Sébastien Schneiter SUI and his team (Stuart Bithell GBR, Jason Saunders NZL) took the lead, closely followed by Jonas Warrer DEN (with Christian Peter Lubeck DEN/Juan Navarro ESP) in 2nd place - the Persico ranking. New at the top of the J/70 is Richard Witzel USA and his team, tied for second place is Bobby Julien USA. There was also a change of leader in the Melges 24: Michael Goldfarb USA took over the lead with the day's 1st and 4th places. All rankings and the daily report.
