The mistral blew across the Bay of Hyères with up to 30 knots on the starting day of the Semaine Olympique, and accordingly, the experienced sailors mostly took the lead: ----- In the ILCA 7, the Olympic Champion Matthew Wearn AUS and Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA share the lead with first and second places respectively in their groups. Pavlos Kontides CYP and Philipp Buhl GER follow one point behind. ----- In the ILCA 6, Agata Barwinska POL leads by one point over Maxime Jonker NED. ----- In the Mixed 470, Hippolyte Machetti/Aloîse Retornaz FRA, Malte and Anastasyia Winkel GER and Anton Dahlberg/Lovisa Karlsson SWE are tied at the top. ----- In the 49er, the Polish double Buksak/Wierzbicki POL and Staniul/Sztorch POL are on top. ----- Vilma Bobeck/Rebecca Netzler SWE won both heats of their group in the 49erFX. One point behind are Stephanie Roble/Margaret Shea USA in second. ----- The Olympic Championswinners Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA won the only race of the day in the Nacra 17. ----- The wind and kite surfing was dominated by the French: Hélène Noesmoen FRA won all 5 races of the day in the women's iQ-Foil windsurfing, while in the men's iQ-Foil Clément Bourgeois FRA leads ahead of Nicolas Goyard FRA and Sebastian Kördel GER. ----- 4 heat wins each went to Maximilian Mäder SGP, the Singaporean with Swiss roots, and the local matador Axel Mazella FRA in the Kite Men. In the Kite Women, Daniela Moroz USA came out on top. ----- All rankings, the daily-report and the video-of-the-day.
