Olympic Worldcup 2022 - Allianz-Regatta - Amsterdam NED - Day 1

On the Ijsselmeer - now no longer in Medemlik but in the very south near Amsterdam - the second World Cup 2022 of the Olympic classes started yesterday. Only the Lasers Standard are missing, who just finished their World Championship in Mexico 2 days ago. Shifting light winds affected the program, and only the ILCA 6 and the 49ers sailing in two groups were able to finish one race each. ----- Marie Barrué FRA, already winner of the Dutch World Cup last year, started the series with a race win ahead of Louise Cervera FRA and Carolina Albano ITA. 55 participants from 29 nations and 4 continents. The results ILCA 6. ----- Arthur de Jonghe/Jan Heuninck BEL and Bart Lambriex/Floris Van de Werken NED won the race of their group each in the 49er.
