After the windless start day, there was sunshine and 12-15 knots of sea breeze in Kiel yesterday. An excellent start was made by Yves Mermod/Maja Siegenthaler SUI in the Mixed 470: Thanks to two race wins, they lead the strong fleet. Luise Wanser/Philipp Autenrieth GER follow 2 points behind. Linda Fahrni/Cyril Schüpbach SUI are 21st. In the 49er, the leaders are close together after 4 races; Dickson/Waddilove IRL lead by one point ahead of Przybytek/Piasecki POL and Rual/Amoros FRA. Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärer SUI are 64th. In the 49erFX Vilma Bobeck/Rebecca Netzler SWE are leading after 4 races. Sophie Steinlein/Thomas Plössel GER follow on rank 2. In the Nacra 17 the Italians dominate once again, the Olympic winners Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA lead with 3 race wins, 4 points behind are Vittorio Bisarro/Maelle Frascari ITA 2. In the ILCA 7 there is a German double lead after 3 races by Nik Willim GER and Nico Naujock GER. In ILCA 6 Mara Stransky AUS leads by one point ahead of Mirthe Akkermann NED and Julia Büsselerg GER. Lena Erdil GER and Sebastian Kördel GER dominate the iQ-Foils. A South African lead through Andy Taroton RSA at the Musto-Skiff World Championships after 4 races.
