Optimist - European Chamionship 2022 - Sonderborg DEN - Day 1

In light winds, the Optimist European Championships began yesterday in Denmark with two races each. The boys' fleet is divided into 3 groups, with a trio tied for the lead: Iason Panagopoulos GRE (1/5), Tristen Ottmann GER (4/2) and Artur Brighenti ITA (2/4). Ulysse Raison FRA follows on rank 4. Eivind Löfteröd SUI also started well and is in 18th place of the 142 participants with ranks 5/15. Lars Dittel SUI is also in the first half of the ranking list in 69th place. In the girls' race, Emily French MLT won both races. Moeka Iwanami JPN is already 6 points behind in 2nd place. Alicja Dampc POL follows on rank 3.
