The qualifications for the finals were completed yesterday in Vilamoura with two more races, again in best seabreeze conditions. Italy continues to dominate: Nicola Cassitta ITA took the lead with two race wins in his group. Massimiliano Antoniazzi ITA and Dionysios Kalpogiannakis GRE are only one point behind in second place. Boris Hirsch SUI is still going strong, improving to 12th place with 7th and 5th place on the day and will be the only Swiss sailor in the gold fleet from today on. Ginevra Caracciolo ITA has taken the lead in the girls' ranking. Maria-Vittoria Arseni ITA is 3 points behind in second place, followed one point behind by Annemijn Algra NED. Best Swiss is now Léonie Baudet SUI on rank 26, Viktoria Jedlinska SUI was dropped back to rank 28 due to a bad race.
