Fireball - World Championship 2022 - Lough Derg IRL - Day 2

After a windless start day, the Fireball World Championship opened with 3 races in the south of Ireland yesterday. ----- In inconsistent winds around 12kn, Thomas Gillard/Shandy Thompson GBR came out on top with ranks 2/8/1. Claude Mermod/Ruedi Moser SUI started the Worlds with a race win and are now 6th with ranks 1/18/4. There are 70 teams from 9 nations and 5 continents at the start, including a large Swiss delegation. ----- The ranking list and the event website.
