470 - World Championship 2022 - Sdot Yam ISR - Day 1

In winds that initially reached 8 knots and later increased to 12 knots, the Olympic Mixed 470s began their World Championships in Israel yesterday with three races. The fleet of 60 teams is divided into two groups. ----- First leaders are Luise Wanser/Philipp Autenrieth GER with ranks 1/2 (the discard is already included). Jianyong Xu/Yahan Tu CHN (1/3) and Marco Gradoni/Alessandra Dubbini ITA (1/5) follow on ranks 2 and 3. Linda Fahrni/Cyrill Schüpbach SUI also started well and are on rank 12 with 10 and 2. Yves Mermod/Maja Siegenthaler SUI in 19th place are also on course for the gold fleet.
