ILCA 6 & 7 - European Championship 2022 - Hyères FRA - Day 1

In 10-14kn offshore westerly winds, the ILCA European Championships started yesterday in Hyères with 2 races each. ----- In the ILCA 7, Duko Bos NED came out on top with 1st and 2nd place in his group. Michael Beckett GBR (3/2)) and Pavlos Kontides CYP (2/3) follow in 2nd. World Champion Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA (1/10) is in 7th. Gauthier Verhulst SUI started well with a 14th and 15th and is on course for Goldfleet as 39th. ----- In the ILCA 6, Agata Barwinska POL came out on top with ranks 1 and 3. Chiara Benini ITA and Pernelle Michon FRA in 2nd and 3rd place are already 5 points behind. Only one point behind is Maud Jayet SUI on rank 4. A good start was also for Anja Von Allmen SUI (33/18), who is 49th of the 110 participants and on course for the Gold Fleet. ----- In the ILCA 6 men, Rocco Wright IRL (1/3) took the lead, Boris Hirsch SUI is 13th of the 66 participants. ----- All rankings and the daily-report.
