Optimist - International Trophy - Palamos ESP - Final results

The international Trophy in Palamos ended yesterday with three races in good conditions around 10 knots. It was a big event with 550 participants from 22 nations, and the Swiss used the strong competition for their first World Championship selection. ----- After a total of 9 races, Hugo Rodriguez ESP won clearly 14 points ahead of Joan Domingo ESP. Bartosz Zmudzinski POL followed in third place. Best girl is Blanca Ferrando ESP on rank 7. Good also the Swiss! Damian Berther SUI finished the series in 14th place, with Edward Hirsch SUI following in 18th place. As the best Swiss of the day (18/5/17), Justine Barbarin SUI moved up to 20th place - she is not only the second-best girl but also won the U-12 ranking! ----- The results and the final report.
