470 - European Championship 2023 - San Remo ITA - Day 5

Up to 20kn, big waves, east wind dominated the action in San Remo yesterday too. The European 470 Championship continued with three new races. Anton Dahlberg/Lovisa Karlsson SWE were able to hold on to the lead, Simon Diesch/Anna Markfort GER came back to within 3 points of the Swedes thanks to 1st and 2nd place finishes of the day. Hippolyte Machetti/Aloise Retornaz FRA are in third place, 6 points behind. The two Swiss teams struggled: Yves Mermod/Maja Siegenthaler SUI clearly missed the Medal Race by finishing 17th and Linda Fahrni/Cyrill Schüpbach lost 2 places and are now 32nd.
