470 - European Championship 2023 - San Remo ITA - Final results

Yesterday, the Mixed 470 European Championship ended in San Remo with a dramatic Medal Race: Hippolyte Machetti/Aloïse Retornz FRA, 3rd place before the Medal Race, were leading and on course for the title. But after a 720° penalty by the jury for a windward battle with Camille Lecointre/Jérémy Mion FRA in the final 100 meters, they dropped to 4th place, which was only enough for the bronze medal. Thus Anton Dahlberg/Lovisa Karlsson SWE successfully defended their European Championship title.
