Olympic & International Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Day 2

A light seabreeze made the first races in Kiel possible yesterday. In the large fleet of ILCA 7, William Zielinski NED and Ole Schweckendiek GER each won the race of their group. Martin Verhulst SUI started the series with a disqualification. In ILCA 6, Hanna Koba SWE won ahead of Nazli Donertas TUR. In the 49er, Rual/Amoros FRA and Mollerius/ McDiarmid USA each won the race of their group. Pablo Rüegge/Linus Abicht SUI follow in 29th, with Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärer SUI in 36th of the 63 teams. The 49erFX did not race. In the Mixed 470, the strong German teams lined up in front as expected: After 3 races Simon Diesch/Anna Markfort GER lead just ahead of Theres Dahnke/Matti Cipra GER . In the Nacra 17, Margherita Porro/Stefano Dezulian ITA won both races of the day. All other rankings (420s, OK dinghies and 2.4m were also in action) and the daily report.
