IMOCA Open 60, VO65 - The Ocean Race - Genoa ITA - Leg 7 - Day 11

Dull conditions continue to dominate the race in the Mediterranean. ----- Nevertheless, the Polish 'Wind Whisperer' with skipper Pablo Arrarte ESP will reach the finish in Genoa tonight as the winner of the VO65, with only 60 miles to go this morning. ----- The fleet of the three Open 60s has stretched out a bit: 'Holcim-PRB' (Benjamin Schwartz FRA) is leading now 17 miles ahead of 'Biotherm' (Paul Meilhat FRA). With 170 miles to go, 'Malizia' (Boris Herrmann GER) also remains in the running for the leg win, 37 miles behind. ----- The race tracker and the reports.
