ILCA 6 & 7 - Masters Europeans - Douarnenez FRA - Day 2

After the flat start day, there were excellent conditions yesterday with 10-15kn, and all the fleets were able to finish 3 races. ----- In the ILCA 7 Apprentice (35-45), the ex-Olympian Wannes Van Laer BEL, sailing in the Masters for the first time, is clearly leading. ----- In the ILCA 7 Great Grand Master (65-75), Jose-Luis Doreste ESP (Olympic Champion 1988) is clearly ahead of Tim Law GBR as well. ----- In the largest fleet with 67 participants, the ILCA 7 Grand Masters (55-65), Tomas Nordquist SWE has taken the lead. Allen Clark CAN follows in second place. Beat Heinz SUI is in the midfield in 34th position. ----- In the ILCA 6 Great Grand Master (65-75), the brilliantly starting Swiss fell back a bit. Lorenz Müller SUI is 6th. Jean-Luc Dreyer SUI has moved up to 10th place. New at the top is Vanessa Dudley AUS, 2 points ahead of the FD-Olympic Champion 1980 (!)
