 ACat  World Championship 2023  Toulon FRA  Final results
The A-Cat World Championship came to an end yesterday in Toulon with fresh winds. The Classics sailed two more races, the Foilers finished with a final race. ----- This was won by two-time Olympic medallist Darren Bundock AUS, but he remained in third place. The title goes to Jakub Surowiecz POL, followed 5 points behind by Mischa Heemskerk NED in second place. Robin Mäder SUI was able to improve again and finished 8th. Dominik Peikert SUI followed in 28th position, Loïc Dony SUI moved up to 29th place of the 48 Foilers with his best race (11th place). ----- In the Classics, John Anderson AUS won thanks to a higher number of race wins ahead of Gustavo Doreste ESP, who is tied on points. Andrew Landenberger AUS took bronze. Best Swiss was Mathieu Verrier SUI in 20th place, Bruno Biedermann SUI followed in 22nd place of the 80 participants. ----- The rankings and the pictures.
