Yesterday, too, the conditions on the Bay of Biscay remained flat and the fleet, still sailing close together, made only slow progress. This morning, the 90 Minis are approaching the control mark near Gijon on the Spanish north coast. No hope that the wind will freshen up until tomorrow night when passing Cape Finisterre. ----- In the Protos, Federico Waksman USA is now in the lead 0.5 miles ahead of Victor Mathieu FRA.
