The first race in light winds ended with a win for Jörgen Schönherr DEN/Markus Koy GER after an inappropriate course change by the race committee that shook up the standings. For the second race, the breeze freshened up to 16 knots, and Jack Jenning USA/Pedro Trouche BRA took the win, putting them at the top of the overall standings. They were followed by Schönherr/Koy DEN in second place with the same number of points. Juan Kouyoumdjian/Fernando Rivero ARG are third, 6 points behind.
