18 Footer - JJ Giltinan Trophy - Sydney AUS - Day 1

The first race of the 18-footer world championship was held this morning in Sydney in very light and shifty winds. ----- It was a spectacular race with many lead changes, with the Australian favorites coming out on top in the end: 'Andoo' with John Winning jr won ahead of 'Yandoo' with Kevin York AUS. Heinrich von Bayern GER and his team were strong, even taking a brief lead after the first lap and finishing the race in 5th place. ----- Above is the replay of the race.
