At the end of the qualifications for today's Medal Races, three more races were held yesterday in light winds. ----- In the 49ers, Hernan Umpierre/Fernando Diz URU were again best of the day and go into the Medal Race with a 12-point lead. James Peters/Finn Sterritt GBR in 2nd place are 7 points ahead of Sébastien Schneiter/Arno De Planta SUI. Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA on 4th are 8 points behind 3rd place and still have a chance of winning a medal. Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärer SUI finished the European Championships in 42nd place, while Pablo Rüegge/Linus Abicht SUI have improved to rank 48. ---- In the 49ersFX, Isaura Maenhout/Anouk Goerts BEL should not be displaced from the top spot in the Medal Race. Their lead over Sarah Steyaert/Charline Picon FRA is 15 points. Lurking 4 points behind the French are Frey Black/Saskia Tidey GBR. ----- All rankings and the report.
