Kite Boarding - World Championship 2016, Round 2 - Leucate FRA - Day 4

The Mondial du Vent in Leucate at the French Mediterranean Coast is underway with Kiteboarders - running the second round of the Freestyle and Big-Air World Championship - and the Windsurfers ready for the traditional long-distance speed race.
Yesterday, the first round of the speed kiting was on the program. Winner in not too strong winds was Rob Douglas USA with 41,92 kn ahead of Sylvain Hoceini FRA and Alexandre Caizergues FRA. In the women, the first place went to Angély Bouillot FRA. Today, the Freestyle competition will continue with the Semi Finals pairing Yuri Zoon NED and Alex Pastor ESP as well as Carlos Mario BRA and Stefan Spiessberger AUT.
