Laser - Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Hyères FRA - Final results

Some classes sailed their Medal Races in a light breeze while the Lasers enjoyed wind peaks of almost 20 kn.
Finishing on rank 2 behind Andrew Maloney NZL, Philipp Buhl GER climbed on the first place in the Lasers Standard, 3 points ahead of Sam Meech NZL. Tom Burton AUS dropped on rank 3.
The experienced Evi Van Acker BEL controlled the qualification leader Josefin Olsson SWE during the whole Medal Race and sailed her in a matchracing style down the rankings to replace her on top of the overall classifications. The World Champion Alison Young GBR moved up on rank 3.
