Overcast sky and freshening winds prevailed yesterday on Syney Harbour, where the 18-footer race series continued with the first race of the New South Wales Championship. 'Coopers 62 Rag & Famish Hotels' with Tom Clout AUS and 'Thurlow Fisher Lawyers' with Michael Coxon AUS duelled during the whole race decided within sight of the finish line when 'Thurlow' hitting a wave was turned over in a gust (to be seen in the race video replay after 1 h 21 min).
