18-Footer - Australian Championship 2017 - Sydney AUS - Final results

The Australian 18-Footer Championship 2017 ended yesterday with the 5th regatta on Sydney Harbour. In very unconstant winds between 4 and 15 kn, 'Thurlow Fisher Lawyers' eith Michael Coxon AUS were the dominating winners finishing 4 minutes ahead of the second. With this victory, 'Thurlow' earned the Champion's title replacing the interim's leader 'Smeg' (Lee Knapton AUS) on top.

Three weeks before the JJ Giltinan Trophy - the inofficial World Championship of the 18-Footer - the fleet is very much levelled without evident favorites, even more, as the strong New Zealand skiffs will add high quality to the Championship.
