GC32-Catamaran, Flying Phantom - Extreme Sailing Series, Act 3 - Madeira POR - Day 3

Two different wind systems over the Madeira Islands caused several start postponements, and finally only one race could be completed with 'Alinghi' of Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI as winner. The Swiss remained on the 3rd place overall, reducing the gap to the leader 'SAP Racing' with Adam Minoprio NZL on 9 points. 'Oman Air' with Phil Robertson NZL kept rank 2 with a 7 points' backlog on the first. Everything is open for the top ranks today, with a final race awarding double points.
The Flying Phantoms competed in six races, with four capsizes and one dismasting. No sailors were injured. 'Red Bull Sailing Team' retained its top spot with 'Culture Foil' on 2nd and 'Zephir by Idrewa' as 3rd.
