Wind + KiteSurfing Speed Challenge Luederitz NAM Day 4
As every year, the fastest wind- and kitesurfers meet in Namibia at the Lüderitz-Speed-Challenge to chase for new speed records on an artifical race channel, digged about 50 cm deep in the mud flats at an ideal angle to the fresh thermal breeze. Here the video.
Many of the fastest speed riders are on the entry list, among others Sébastien Cattelan FRA, Antoine Albeau FRA, Björn Dunkerbeck SUI, Patrick Diethelm ITA, Karin Jaggi SUI, the fastest woman.
Up to now, the Japanese speed records have been improved. The fastest ride up to now belongs to the kite surfer Sébastien Cattelan FRA with 51,57kn. The event facebook page and the event website.
