5.5m - Scandinavian Gold Cup 2018 - Cowes GBR - Day 3
Saturday, August 18, 2018
Light winds prevailed yesterday in Cowes on the third and crucial day of the Scandinavian Gold Cup with the two previous race winners matching for the Trophy. Kristian Neergard NOR needed just one, Jürg Menzi SUI two bullets. But the situation was clear right after the start of the first race when the Norvegian had the upper hand in the start and controlled the race down to the wire. This was his 10th Gold Cup victory, the first three as crew of his father.
