49er & 49erFX - Junior World Championship 2018 - Marseille FRA - Day 4

Much action on the race courses yesterday in a freshening Mistral wind, and after the first race, the second heat had to be cancelled after a non-ending capsizing festival. After four hours' waiting ashore, the 49ers held two more races late in the day.
Robert Dickson Sean Waddilove IRL are the new leaders with a 4 points' advantage on Bart Lambriex/Scipio Houtman NED. Another 5 points behind are Daniel Nyborg/Sebastian Olsen DEN now on 3rd. Harry Melges/Finn Rowe USA remain 29th, Dylan Jones/Jonathan Kelly CAN 45th among the 52 teams. For today, a fresh Mistral has been announced again, and it remains to be seen, whether racing will be possible.
The 49ersFX sailed only one race yesterday without influence on the podium positions. Keanu Prettner/Lukas Haberl AUT remain on top with now 10 points on the best women's team Vilma Bobeck/Malin Tengström SWE on 2nd. On rank 3 follow Tomas Barreto/Joao Prieto POR. Lucy Wilmot/Nathan Housberg USA had another disappointing race (rank 22) and dropped on rank 12 loosing 6 places.
