The first day of the Final Series sailed in Gold- and Silverfleets in a 12-15kn wind yesterday was a distaster for the clearly leading Josefin Olsson SWE as with a disqualification and an abandoned race, she dropped on rank 8 in the Radial Women, away from the title contenders until a second discard will be granted after 8 races. New on top is now Ecem Güzel TUR 6 points ahead of Tuula Tenkanen FIN. On rank 3 follows Marit Bouwmeester NED. ----- The North Americans did not have their best day, but nevertheless, Charlotte Rose USA on 6th and Paige Railey USA on 7th remain in the top-10. Sarah Douglas CAN however is on the disappointing 47th place, one rank ahead of Clara Gravely CAN, new in the international scene. ----- In the Radial Men, Zac West AUS remains on top ahead of Simon de Gendt BEL, but winning 5 of the 8 races sailed so far, he will climb on top as soon as the second discard comes into effect.
