49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - Oceania Championship 2020 - Geelong AUS - Day 1

As a last preparation to the important 49er, 49erFX Nacra17 World Championships in February, the joint Oceania Championship was kicked-off this morning UTC in Geelong AUS with top-quality attendance in all classes. Racing began in the 49ers with one group completing two races, the other group one race. ----- The race winners were Przybytek/Kolodzinski POL, Gilmour/Gilmour AUS and Botin/Rodriguez ESP. The best ranked North Americans among 4 USA and 4 CAN teams were Ryan and Andrew Wood CAN as 9th and Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA as 11th of their group, bringing them on the overall ranks 15 and 20. ----- The results and the event facebook page.
