The 18-footer World Championship started yesterday with a race held in a 16-18 knots breeze with 'tech2' of Jack Mccartney AUS winning a drag race. Race 2 held this Sunday morning UTC is already finished (see LIVE broadcast on www.sailing-news.us ), again with 'tech2' on top, clearly leading overall ahead of 'Finport' with Keegan York AUS in 2nd place with a 3rd and 4th. ----- The day 1 report.
