05:43h CET - The Nacra 17s are the first class to have just terminated the first of three races, completing the qualifying series for the Medal Race. ----- Lin Cenholt/Christian Lübeck DEN finished first in the heat held in a wind around 8kn. With a second place, Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA extended their lead in the overall standings to 9 points.
