Nacra 17, iQ-Foil - International Regatta, Part II - Lanzarote ESP - Final results

The winds remained light and inconsistent on the final day in Lanzarote. Nacra 17 and the iQ-Foil men were able to finish their series with the Medal Races, the iQ women could only finish one last qualifying race. In the Nacra 17, Billy Besson/Noa Ancian FRA also won the Medal Race and were clearly ahead of Mateo Majdalani/Eugenia Bosco ARG and Micah Wilkinson/Erica Dawson NZL. There was also a French victory in the iQ-Foil Men's Final: Adrien Mestre FRA won the Final of the best 4 ahead of Luuc Van Opzeeland NED. Sam Sills GBR, who dominated all week, had to settle for 3rd place. Sebastian Kördel GER came in 4th. Elia Colombo SUI finished the series in 34th place, Sebastian Schärer SUI followed in 36th place of the 75 participants. Without a Medal Race, the women's iQ podium remained in Israeli hands: Shahar Tibi ISR won ahead of Sharon Kantor ISR, who was tied on points, Maya Morris ISR moved up to third thanks to victory in the final race.
