With sunshine and 12 knots of wind, later increasing to 18 knots, the qualifications for today's Medal Races were completed yesterday. ----- Bart Lambriex/Floris Van de Werken NED are the overall winners in the 49ers with a 30-point lead already before the Medal Race. ----- In the ILCA 6, Maxime Jonker NED extended her lead to 9 points thanks to two wins on the day. ----- In ILCA 7, Duko Bos NED goes into the Medal Race with a 9-point lead over Vallteri Uusitalo FIN. The fresher winds also suited Gauthier Verhulst SUI, who moved up to 12th place with 3rd and 9th, missing out on qualifying for the Medal Race by just 6 points. ----- The Formula Kiters sail the Medal Races according to their own system: Axel Mazella FRA and Connor Bainbridge GBR, first in the interim ranking qualify directly for the Final of the best 4. Ranks 3-10 will determine the other finalists in two semi-finals. Marcin Kroczak SUI finished his first World Cup on rank 35. ----- In the women, Annelous Lammerts NED replaced the previously leading Poema Newland FRA on the top spot. Elena Lengwiler SUI managed a 2nd runner-up finish yesterday, and as 8th, she is in the semi-finals of the Medal Race today. ----- In the iQ-Foils, Luuc Van Opzeeland NED is still in the lead. ----- All rankings, the daily report and the Facebook page with pictures and videos.
