420 - World Championship 2024 - Rio de Janeiro BRA - Final results

The 420 World Championship came to an end yesterday in Rio with two races at around 12 knots. ----- The home team Lucas Freitas/Victoria Back BRA managed to take the title at the end. Lisa Vucetti/Vittorio Bonifacio ITA took silver, Joe Leigh/Joshua Ferrissey NZL were 3rd. ----- In the women's race, Iakovina Kerkezou/Danai Giannouli GRE were able to defend their title from last year just ahead of Paula and Isabel Laiseca ESP, who tied on points. Bronze went to Joana Gonçalves/Gabriela Vassel BRA, who won the Junior World Championship title in Buzios BRA in December.
